Emerald was born in the big, busy city of Las Pegasus. Her parents planned on moving to canterlot after she was born because they grew tired of the busy city life. Her dad Motor has worked his whole life working in the cart fixing industry and her mom Aurora had worked as a doctor before becoming a mother. Emerald is a bit of an anxious kind of pony because when she was a filly, she was bullied for struggling to earn a cutie mark, especially while she was growing up. She has no cutie mark yet and has slightly given up on trying to earn one while, at the same time, doing various jobs and hobbies to figure out who she is and what she’s meant to do. As a filly, she only had a few close friends before losing touch with them later on in her life as she got older, one of them was Twilight Sparkle, who she had forgotten about until she’s learned about her and the mane six’s adventure on defeating Nightmare Moon. They don’t talk much like they used to but what they have is a mutual/acquaintance friendship since it had been years since they’ve spoken to one another.
