seriously, now it’s confirmed that Spike will appear in secret of starlight it shows that hasbro has a lack of effort to do a good design for him, poor spike he didn’t deserve it

it would sound more nostalgia if he says: “Spike, spike, now that’s a name I’ve not heard in a long time, a long time”, that line is obviously a reference to star wars

If they do a scene in g5 where it references that part in the actual first star wars movie (a new hope), of old Ben (which’ll be way older spike in that) making his entrance, that’d be so awesome to see!

I had an idea where in gen 5 the dragon lands were like modern day England complete with a steam train and loved musical theater and were ruled by a king who was an award winning actor

My gosh… How long has it been? If Spike is this old, Equestria must be in a very far future.

I can just imagine Sunny hugging Spike’s nose, and him starting to weep from having gone so long without interacting with anypony who wasn’t terrified of him.
“It has been so long since anycreature has blessed me with such kindness… thank you, thank you so much…”

Like these two said, you did really good and you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself.

In fact this piece is so good that it inspired me to write a fanfic based on this piece.

AHHHHH THANKS!! Tbf I stressed out a lot with this drawing, I redid the rendering like 3 times because it either looked too gray or the shading feeling too flat. I’m not entirely proud of it came out but I’m glad that people are enjoying it lol
