I love the incredibly subtle little grin tugging at the corner of Spike’s mouth. It’s about five pixels, but it makes a very noticeable and pleasing difference in his expression.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

The more pronounced brow and minor changes to the snout really improve Spike’s design. Making the back of the neck a bit thicker and adjusting the curve were also good choices. Making the eyebrows green was also a very good design choice. The adjustments are subtle and make a big difference while staying true to the original. I’m headcanoning this as a slightly older-than epilogue Spike.
 
I love Smolder’s expression. My only nitpick is the number of digits on her claws and the length of her left (our right) index finger.
