most likely a representation of the welrod British pistol in ww2 it was silent and was bolt action

A few things I don’t like about this picture mainly lie with the pistol. The bolt should be towards the barrel and on the other side. Though in either case I’ve never seen a pistol with a bolt on it at all, if that’s even a pistol and not a rifle he needs to assemble.
