Friendship is tough…
I’ll be honest, when I watched ‘Wonderbolts Academy’ I felt pretty bad for Lightning Dust near the end. Sure, she was mean, inconsiderate and had done some wrong things that nearly got everypony killed…but it could have had an ending that didn’t leave most of us bronies and MLP fans with bitter feelings. :(
Not only do I feel total sympathy for that striking golden-haired pegasus, I also feel bad for the situation Rainbow Dash had been trapped in. And although she did the right thing…she lost a friend because of it. :sniff: And let’s be honest that in reality we had experienced this sort of thing some point in our lives. ^^;
I don’t want to call Lightning Dust a bad pony, and I think she would have made an excellent Wonderbolt if she wasn’t so competitive and harsh…she’s like Rainbow Dash only 20% more egotistic. :XD: She may have mostly been seen as just some annoying rival to Rainbow Dash, but competitive natures aside, they did seem to have such a good time together before that all ended. :( But other than that, I really hope we see her again in the series, because, like Trixie and Discord, she could somewhat reform. :worry:
Anyone remember Gilda? :icongildaplz: Yeah, I really hope we see HER again as well, because it was REALLY sad how her friendship with Rainbow Dash had ended in “Griffon the Brush-Off”. She could have changed for the better in that one episode, but I guess we’ll just have to keep waiting for that ‘reform episode’. :(
And anyone who recalls my MLP FIM and Robot and Monster :iconrobot-and-monster: crossover comics ‘Honest Words’ [link] and ‘Best is All’ [link], some would consider Rainbow Dash and Ogo quite the crossover duo in terms of playful banter about shows like Littlest Pet Shop and breaking the fourth wall. :D
Well, for any RnM fan, Ogo is much more than this clingy, desperate stalker who really wants friends, he’s a sweetheart who can be quite sensitive and empathetic even to others, which is why I thought he would be BEST CHARACTER to comfort Lightning Dust of her loss because of her huge ego and selfish mistakes and encourage her to keep going and not let the past repeat itself, possibly insisting another episode featuring her in a more positive light and she makes up for the wrong she had done. :)
Talk about a true, true friend. :aww:

Silly Cartunes doesn’t even know what the TRUE best cartoon ever is.
I HAVE A MULLET JEN
Just like AJ and Dashie in Non-Compete Clause (or Newbie Dash or Tanks for the Memories).
Lightning is also not the only one to blame for the unfortunate tornado accident. Spitfire, Rainbow and her friends are not guiltless.
@warc9
Because she never got the chance. What happened to Dusty is an injustice that must be corrected.
@Exceptionally Average Individual And Lurker
The answer is not realism but hypocrisy and double standards.
Edited
They both apologised, LD didn’t.
Honestly, the if the mane six can forgive a deity who mind-raped them and tried to plunge Equestria into eternal chaos, and a unicorn who brainwashed an entire village and later almost destroyed the time stream, then I see no reason why they can’t give Lightning Dust a second chance too.
Yeah that’s really bad.

help i’m drowning in all these crossovers.
There are the Shadowbolts, but they were constructs of Nightmare Moon meant to tempt Rainbow Dash into betraying her friends.
IrieMangaStudios, looks like CL16 took your advice and accepted criticism.
Damn, she really had a good thing going for her with her last few pics.
Labbu labbu. I labb you too. :D
if it’s a one shot OOC moment AND it’s used as a comedic way, cool…
but used consistently as a OOC vehicle to express one’s own feelings about the show, the fandom or disregarding the original creators’ own characteristics for their ideas, then no…
Sweet Jesus. You’re not gonna like what I’m gonna do to Queen Chrysalis, then.
Her crossovers just plainly leave a bad taste in other people’s mouths because she is place herself and her opinions into the fan art with the characters be her mouthpiece rather than allowing the characters be themselves and allow the crossover to feel naturally.
It’s done waaaay too many times that frankly, her work doesn’t surprise me anymore. Not raging or swearing about but it’s something that is in a majority in her work that turns a lot of fans off.
…I <3 you. No homo (If you’re a dude, of course).
@Keith Mowz
And all this is saying nothing of her passive aggressiveness being taken out in said pictures.
Can you imagine it? Warrior-princess Twilight Sparkle meets blonde toupee Mordekai. It would be the definitive spin-off.
