Yet another piece caught of our very mysterious and rarely seen stage 1 fusions, which I admit have been overshadowed by the sum of their fusions (aka the alicorn final stage fusions). With that being said and thanks to the interest and curiosity of :iconshaliwolf: these ponies mare and stallions alike are now getting their fair shot at the spotlight. First it was Clumsy Carrot and now this blend of two mares. Those being none other than Sunset Shimmer and Pinkie Pie together as one, otherwise known as Sunbutter Cookies. Normally a cheery and happy go lucky mare that reeks of Pinkie’s overabundant energy whish tends to overpower Sunset’s own influence over their shared form which can lead to disastrous bouts of stress that Sunbutter deals with internally despite her outwards appearance. Whenever Pinkie might have a more emotional moment or moment of vulnerability is usually when Sunset is able to take the reigns for a while, thought the only annoyance is that she has to cope with Pinkie’s stressed out mood and the effects it has on Sunbutter as a whole. Overall Pinkie dominates the fusion with poor Sunset Shimmer being given the raw end of a deal she did not expect to be a part of. Though over time she has made her voice heard through many moments that interrupt Pinkie’s seemingly unstoppable happy streaks, giving Sunbutter rather drastic mood changes bordering on mild bipolar disorder. Such disorder being the lopsided amount of influence the ponies have with one another. Luckily, Pinkie and Sunset were able to find much more balance when they did fuse with Zap-Apple Jam (Applejack and Rainbow Dash) to make Queen Motherly Morning (which even then the influence of Pinkie can be visibly seen.) Though she may have her issues, in the end Sunbutter Cookies is a kind, energetic and calm and positive mare to be around.
