( Actually it’s not hypocritical; my position was that any official media not directly contradicted by the show could fairly be considered canon. Meanwhile, in all official media Zephyr’s relationship to Rainbow Dash has been consistent with what has been portrayed in the show. Meaning for all intents and purposes, canon says you’re wrong! )

I think there would be a really good character arc there for both him and Rainbow, her learning not to judge so harshly (even though they’d kinda touched on that before) and him learning that he didn’t need to try so hard to impress anyone.

In the canon-but-not-canon-depending-on-which-writer-you-ask-on-what-day last episode, Rainbow and Applejack are old spinster “roommates”. Unless they re-revised it, it’s officially whatever you want it to be, or something. So pointless, never hinted towards shipbait.

That’s right! I’m very disappointed that we didn’t get the episode about Zephyr and Rainbow Dash’s relationship. I believe that he is not a fully revealed character. And I was very upset that in the final they were not shown in the place. But in my Headcanon, Zephyr Was just Babysitting their foal, so he didn’t show up.
