A tough highschool dropout, Tempest joined a biker gang and went from town to town causing trouble. She finally left the gang and came to the City of Canterlot to get a fresh start but every attempt failed due to her past. This pull to her past built up as a fiery rage inside her. One day she saw a dark star fall from the sky and fell into a cave. She felt compelled to see it and came face to face with a bear. Tempest, through sheer vicious rage, managed to knock the bear out. In the fight her arm was broken but she found the crater where the Dark Star had fallen. It had 7 crystals in it. One magically flew up to Tempest and became a necklace. She was filled with power and control over her temper. She heard voices through the cave and saw faces in her mind. She knew she needed to track these women down.
