Given that Sombra’s main schtick seems to be corrupting anything mineral-based, I’d say he’s the absolute LAST villain you’d want to try the Elements on.

As a normal unicorn, it took Celestia and Luna to bring him down, and even then he endured as a demonic spirit thing.
 
I think unicorn Sombra could effortlessly curbstomp Shining Armor and the Bearers, all things considered.

My Headcanon is that if they used the Elements, it would have powered down his whole one winged angel form and turned him into a normal unicorn.
 
Of course since Sombra was malicious before turning into a mindless monster they’d still have to deal with him.
