The two-parter preceding the finale. Discord literally gets away with uniting three enemies of the state and nearly dooming the entire world to eternal winter and tyrannical anarchy while everybody is entirely powerless and useless to stop a centaur, a bug queen, and a small child up until the entire world shows up to let Sparkle and friends summon one last deus ex machina rainbow beam to depower the trio.

Still better than “Hey we just defeated a trio of villains brought together by another villain that we’re going to do nothing about that nearly managed to doom everyone to death by frostbite. Let’s scarf down some doughnuts to celebrate.”
