A while back, I stated that Rainbow Dash was the greatest Wonderbolt of all, and while I stand by that statement, it did get me thinking on how I feel about the other Wonderbolt characters. Specifically, who would be my favourites if Rainbow wasn’t among them? And when I considered that, I realised that there were only two it could be. Vapor Trail and Sky Stinger, the starring characters of the season six episode “Top Bolt”. From scene one, these two really endeared themselves to me, and their part in the story, as well as the conflict they had to come to terms with, was really engaging. In fact, in no small part to their involvement, I’d call “Top Bolt” by far my favourite Wonderbolt episode. They may not be among my overall favourite characters on the show, but these two definitely still fly high in my eyes
