I’ve always thought Starlight is older than Twilight too, ever since her first appearance.
She certainly acted and looked more ‘mature’ than she does now (until her cult was ruined anyway).

I personally like to think Starlight is about five years older than Twilight (like how Vegeta is five years older than Goku, in DBZ).
Her father (along with Sunburst’s mother) appear visibly older than the Mane Six’ parents, and in any case, age doesn’t necessarily equate to maturity (though she’s definitely improved there, since she first appeared).
She strikes me as older than them or around the same age…

And Starlight is Cleary younger than the Mane 6, bringing her far closer to Terramars age.
I don’t know about that. Terramar is clearly Silverstream’s age, and all the Student 6 are implied to be younger then The main characters.
