While I do like MEGAS XLR, you really did not watch Gurren Lagann at all if that’s all you remember about it. Gurren Lagann’s main theme was about kicking logic to the curb and doing the impossible.
Gurren Lagann’s a dumb anime show with robots that looks like big anime heads and over-sexed anime girls with bouncing boobs.
MEGAS XLR had awesome Robot fights, non-anime heroes and a lot of guns, A LOT OF GUNS, A SHITLOAD OF GUNS.
Seriously, if MEGAS XRL and Gurren Lagann had a mech fight. MEGAS XRL would beat the shit outta Gurren Lagann.
