Okay. I think I have two different husband suggestion ideas based on your previous shipping collage with Zeyphr:  

 
The first would be with Starstreak. The two of them are in the fashion industry and Fluttershy used to be a model so the two do have that in common and there’s bound to be interesting character interactions between the two of them.
 
The second suggestion would be pairing him up with Bulk Biceps. Granted, I know you already paired him with Treehugger in your Next Gen and gave them a child but there’s always the possibility of them having a poly relationship together. Your basic note on the ship in the description is that Bulk acts as a motivator to Zeyphr due to his fatherly and excitable personality.
 
So perhaps the basic idea that I have is similar to what you were going to do with Quibble in your previous plan. After Zeyphr finds out that Rutherford made him pregnant and he breaks up with him, perhaps Bulk finds him completely confused and distressed and offers him some help and offers him to stay over at his place (with Treehugger giving the okay of him staying over).

Hmm. That is a bit of a dilemma. If you want to keep the idea of Rutherford and Zephyr breaking up, there still could be other charaters to possibly pair him up with. If you want some advice with that (as well as for a general Next Gen discussion), I do have a thread in the forums specifically for that. I’m sure it’ll be useful to get suggestions from multiple people.

Short answer: I’m struggling with that question  
Rutherford had a relationship planned post zephyr already and their breakup was kind of a plot point but I’m reevaluating some stuff  
I’m p bummed, quibblebreeze was a big fave

I can understand your mixed feelings about the episode. It got rid of some previous headcanons about Quibble Pants (like his mane and tail being not being dyed for the convention). And the new characters make him and the new ones more like Sonas so it would feel a bit weird for some people to split them up for fan related content (it’s obviously not gonna stop everbody but it’s enough to deter some people).
 
For example, I was planning on shipping him with Daring Do for my Next Gen idea. But considering how I did like how Patton’s family voiced these new characters as well as liked Quibble’s new family in-series, I plan on changing things around with mine and having QuibbleSky there instead. But I’m kinda glad though. It’s a blessing in disguise since not only will the OC I’ll be making will now have more design possiblities since the parents look more drastically different but now the OC will have an older half-sister to interact with as well.
 
As for your Next Gen and who you’re going to pair Zeyphr with, maybe you can pair him up with Prince Rutherford? You already made a child for the two of them, you like Rutherford, and I think your previous ship art of the two was adorable too. So that’s still a possibility.
