Emerald asks about #304 Coursewalk, and how it came to be.
“I realized I needed a place to store some of my… ‘experiments’ and ‘resources’ if you will. I didn’t pick #304 Coursewalk for any particular reason, other than it was cheap and in a moderately safe neighborhood. I didn’t tell the real estate agent what I was doing with it of course.” Joyride says with a shrug.
Emerald asks
Emerald asks how she deals with being wanted by so many people.
“By being useful. Sure there are some people like the Order of the Arrow or those dragons you saw who would like to see me dead in the ground, but for the most part I’m too valuable to just straight up kill. The Jewel family will remember those weapons I made for them, and I helped develop the defensive spell matrix for the castle.” Joyride says, obviously proud of herself.
Emerald asks if she is okay with him giving the skull to this sushi character.
“Eh. If i really needed a pony skull I could get one. Just sort of took it because it was free and might be useful later.” Joyride says, “Anyway, I want to get back to work.”
Emerald and Joyride leave the room, and after Joyride opens the door and enters, the colt pulls out his key and enters his flat. He lays in bed reading a book until Ruby returns sometime later.
Emerald asks what ended up happening.
“Had to go talk to a bunch of people and pick up some stuff. But hey! I managed to short change some of Joyride’s contacts and take it for myself. Want one?” Ruby said grinning, taking a paper bag off her back and holding out a pastry.

Wait She made weapons for the Jewel family? I thought it was Hope’s family or did she make some for the jewels too?

Joy made the helped with the development of them, Hope’s family funds it and the Jewels makes them using their mines and factories I think.
Joyride mentions designing weapons for the Jewel family, when actually she did it for Hope’s family.
