Description

A full mock-up of one of the cards I made based on Legends of Magic issues #7 and #8, with visuals orchestrated by Phil Srobeign.

Why “of Old”? Because I already made a card called “The Dazzlings” back when I did cards for Rainbow Rocks. (Which was four and a half years ago. Holy crap.)

The trick is to build around it, introducing extra ways of forcing your opponents’ creatures to attack. Compare my old buddy Thraximundar , which calls out for extra ways of forcing your opponents to sacrifice creatures.

This doesn’t really feel like a Grixis card. Don’t get me wrong it’s nicely designed, but I feel like it fits Sultai moreso than Grixis.

Hm,. This seems powerful, but being Grixis means it’s in the colors that care about +1/+1 counters the least, so you’re pretty much just smacking people with it, which feels like it’s not living up to its potential.

I don’t know; I just feel it’d be Stronger in Sultai somehow.
