Not a Llama - Happy April Fools Day!

Makes sense. Discord is Chaos and Disharmony, so his magic acts against the current state of things. Except right now everything is out of whack so it’s acting against that by stabilizing everything.  
More Disharmony than Chaos in this case.
 
Plus his magic is counterbalancing Celestia and Luna’s Harmony magic to even everything out.
