I can see how crotch boobs/tits can be a bit distracting. I tend to really like them, if they aren’t too horribly done. Frist does them in a way that’s cartoony and still attractive (to me at least.)
 
But is there another problem about them that others don’t like?
 
There’s only a handful of artists that draw decent teats/boobs/tits. And they vary from too realistic, to stylized.
 
Alcor could do his better, but at this point I can’t imagine them any different for his style.  
Pusspuss comes closer to a good look.  
anearbyanimal does some good ones occasionally. I really like the one he does of Littlepip.

Thanks for stating your mind about it though! I agree in most of it with you but to come back to the image, that horse vag is incredibly soft looking.

Arareroll is a bit too realistic for me, since he draws the whole horse.  
Shydale has stylised horse bits that come close to realistic in some ways but deviate in others, especially with choices of detail in some areas.  
Pusspuss I am definitely a fan of _{when he doesn’t draw crotchtits}, because he draws the genitals very round and squishy looking, which compliments the cartoon anatomy style well.  
As for my own style…  
Eh. It tends to vary a bit, I’m also rather stylised in some areas, but one thing I really try to get right is the clitoris, cus it’s such a complex shape on horses and can look very different depending on whether they’re winking or not. I HATE how everyone draws it like a single bean constantly protruding, it’s a complex arrangement of muscles that unfold when winking. As for outside features, I try to go for something similar to pusspuss I guess.  
I can’t fap to my own work, so I just do what I think is a reasonable mix of realistic and visually appealing.
