No lol. Macro refers to the state of being larger than normal. The technical term for the fetish is sizeplay.
An image without a frame of reference (like an environment, clothing or other props, though those could be misleading too but usually give a good indication as the focus is usually the only thing that has been altered) of course could be interpreted either way until the artist says otherwise however.

It’s so annoying when you look for macro stuff and you get all that “XXX is huge to YYY becaus they are tiny”

I know you’re being facetious, but it really irritates me when I go looking for macro/giantess and all I find is ‘shrunken’ crap.
