What makes Starlight glimmer a Threat to the Modéland is 4 things, 1: She brings a Corrupted Ideology of Equality, 2: She has Some Red Smoke that makes Ponies Aggressive, 3: she has the power to Banish Ponies and Discord & 4: She Has Overpowered Magic that is Way more Dangerous that the Alcorn Amulet, she poses a Threat to The Modéland and she must Be Contain.

Starlight can control her magic, but how Sci-Twi is suppoused to control her stupidity when she’s convinced she’s above average smart? She’s still doing science and her stupidity is still big threat to multiverse. She shouldn’t be allowed to do science.
 
When Starlight does something wrong it’s always her fault. There’s no lying, no blaming others, she takes responsibility and learns from her mistakes. Sci-Twi never learns anything, takes any resposibilty, everybody describes her as innocent and perfect, no matter what she does.

The worst thing about Sci-Twi isn’t that she almost killed every MLP character or that she was left unpunished, but how other characters treat her. It’s like they’re delusional about what happened at Friendship Games. Characters tell different story than we saw in the movie. She’s not even called guilty.

Starlight isn’t responsible for Equestria being useless without Mane 6. Starlight only destroyed cutie marks bond that mane 6 had. It’s always someone else that created those scenarios. That was possible because of Starlight, but she’s not responsible for someone else destroying Equestria. Nobody acts like nothing bad hapened after that. Starlight is called guilty, gets no punishment because it wouldn’t help anyone and was learning how to live in normal society instead, because that would actually change something.
 
What Sci-Twi almost did was worse than what every other villain did or wanted to do put together.
 
Sci-Twi gets no punishment, Nobody even considers her guilty of anything. Everyone blames Cinch, even though she’s only guilty of blackmail. There’s also that ridiculous thing that Sunset after protecting her friends by yelling at Sci-Twi is made the bad one and should apologise, but Nobody ever says a bad word about Sci-Twi. She destroyed the horse statue, so she should get a new one. She proved she’s far too stupid and irresponsible for doing science. There’s still no horse statue and Sci-Twi is many times called smart and is still trusted with doing science. That is not realistic treatment and it’s main reason for calling her mary Sue. Sci-Twi is introduced as smart, acts incredibly stupid and is still everyone calls her smart. At the same time she’s shown as reformed villain, and like she hadn’t ever done anything wrong.
