It’s really hard to let people close when you don’t trust yourself to be a good Pony.
After being reformed Starlight visibly fought with guilt and her own unhealthy habits and thought processes.
It took many heroic feats, mistakes and new friends to get to a point were she could laugh openly without feeling guilty.
One of the biggest supports on her way to recovery was a fellow reformed mess of a pony.
Starlight and Trixie hit it off incredibly well, seeing herself in Trixie at first Starlight quickly learned how different they truly are are just got to appreciate her and her genuine passion for magic all the more.
Starlight had grown to use magic for her own gain, having a distant relationship to it but with her Mentor Twilight and her best friend Trixie she learned to love the subject again and now researches and learns much as Twilight did before.
There really isn’t any obvious turning point were these two mares went from best friends to something more, their relationship naturally progressed were suddenly they could stay in Trixies tiny wagon without needing to have a break every 10 minutes.
Ultimately Starlight loved traveling with Trixie but wanted to settle down in Ponyville, wishing to further her studies and stick close to the school to continue working there.
Trixie first agreed and promised to return again after her next tour, but not half a year later she was back, falling over Starlight, telling her of how she’d been homesick for her Glimmy.
Starlight felt much the same and happily clung to Trixie for seeming hours.
From that point on Trixie permanently settled down in Ponyville and their relationship was very openly romantic, no one really questioned the change.
With the help of Twilight and the enthusiastic support from Rarity, the Ponyville theatre was build, since the town was on the up and up creating a permanent stage seemed like a natural step.
Trixie followed on to become the first regular act on the new stage.
When she is not busy with school work Starlight loves to help her marefriend out as a grand and gorgeous assistant.
This scene shows the great and powerful Trixie posing for a family portrait.
Starlight smiles at her and their beautiful bundle of joy is laughing happily, Trixie feels incredibly blessed and a little overwhelmed with the luck she has to have these two ponies in her live.
That’s right, the little nugget in the middle is the proud Heir of the startrix family.
Lullaby Luster
Affectionately called Lulu is a sweetheart, much unlike his mothers Lulu has a pretty calm and composed personality, most friends of the two Mares also know Lulu in some way as the colt is pretty social and loves talking, this of course includes Auntie Maud, Discord and Thorax all of which have a weakspot for the small sunshine.
_________
Lulu is the first kid of my next Gen I introduced ??? This was unplanned to be honest but I’m not mad about it either hah
He came to me surprisingly easily and build his own personality without me having to work too much, his design took a little longer but I love how he turned out.
Lulu’s got striking golden eyes that Trixie atributes to her moms side of the family. The pigtails meanwhile are a leftover from Starlights fillyhood, to keep Lulus hair out of his eyes and upon his insistence to not cut his mane he was gifted hairties from poppa Firelight who is absolutely head over heels for his Grandson of course.
Wanna know more about these three or other ponies in my NG ?
