Seriously? I cannot comprehend how taking a photo of the screen and uploading that would be easier than using the media player’s own built-in functionality for taking screencaps. The quality loss alone is unacceptable.
What program are you using? In VLC the default screencap key is Shift+S, for example.
I don’t know how to screencap an image. It sounds hard, so I just take a picture. It’s easier for me.
I don’t understand what you’re trying to say.
You have the video playing and you see something interesting. You pause the video, take a screencap and upload the image. You don’t take a photo of the screen.
If it’s an image that does not exist on Derpi, then upload the image file, not a photo you took of it.
What am I missing here?
Because screencap of certain images like this one don’t exist anymore.
This looks more like a photo of a TV screen or computer monitor. Given the completely pointless dimensions (4032x3024) it probably is.
Why don’t you just take a screencap instead of a photo?
