In this alternate universe from MLP, my OC (Dragun Shot) is a wild man who lives in Saura Island, an island where dinosaurs live. (It´s something like Tarzan).
Neanderthals? Bah! Chest-beating was done by gorylals, and also by earlier ape ancestors of humans such as Australopithecines.

now I understand this parody, if this is a island of dinosaur so they look like neanderthals, Rarity and Dragun Shot are dressed like a pair of cavemans, when they beat their chest are real neanderthals
