Generally speaking your logic is the same logic as “gay relationships and anal sex are stupid and vile because it’s not leading to procreation.”  
And yes, they are not rational from nature’s point of view, but people do it anyway and people are well known for enjoying irrational things a lot. So something like cuckolding maybe is a way for some people to enjoy things. Some people enjoy being humiliated in a certain way. Some couples might enjoy occasional cuckolding to spice things up…  
I mean sure cuckolding became sort of a shame meme recently, but that’s just what some people enjoy doing, can’t change that and really can’t apply your “rational” logic on to this.
