Possibly. After all one of the EQG shorts where Timber and SciTwi went to a museum showed that they have a Starswirl counterpart too. Though I think EQG Flash Magnus would be his grandfather or ancestor.

So he’s about as much taller than a high school student as Celestia and Luna are in Equestria Girls. The average height of a woman in the US is about 5’4.

Flash Magnus being ~5’4 kinda puts this picture in a different perspective.
