So as some of you may know, the Adventure Time finale aired a while ago, and immediately after seeing it I wanted to make this, because it was he last goddamn straw.
2018 has been INSANE when it comes to shipping content in cartoons. And I wanted to show my appreciation, as well as highlight my favorite ships that are now either canon, or heavily implied to be canon. So a big thank you to the creators of these shows and the writers that took these characters to where they are now. May they bless us with strong winds in the sails of our ships for both the rest of, and the years to come after, 2018. (Or twenty-gay-teen as people have been calling it, cause man have the LGBT ships been on fire lately…)I don’t own any of these characters or these images, I only own my own art. (The goof with the starry eyes in the middle.)
From left to right and top to bottom:
Lyra and Bonbon, who got a great moment in The Break-up Breakdown, and pretty much confirms even more they’re romantically involved.
Princess Bubblegum and Marceline, who finally got back together in the Adventure Time finale.
Applejack and Rarity, from Rollercoaster of Friendship. You watch the scenes these two have together and tell me there’s not an incredibly obvious romantic undertone.
Star and Marco, who had their first on-screen kiss in Booth Buddies. And so the Svtfoe shipping war rages on.
Ruby and Sapphire, from Steven Universe, who had the first same-sex marriage in cartoon history.
Dipper and Pacifica, who had some really cute moments in the recently released Gravity Falls comic: Lost Legends.
Enid and Red Action, who continue to be my favorite characters, and implied couple, in OK K.O.
And of course many more.Which ships sailed for you this year? Leave a comment.
The fuck? That’s not true at all.
Does not count as gay since they are from a monogendered specie where you either are theosexual to one of your four godesses and homoincestuous with you sisters or a weird deviant antosexual with an other type of gem.

YOU SEE THOSE TWO? THOSE ARE GAY JELLY BEANS. DO NOT FUCK WITH MY GAY JELLY BEANS
So, that’s a never.
We’ll stop when people stop insisting that they are canon.
And I’d wish people like you would quit being such party poopers that apparently got nothing better to do than come to every shipping pic of what’s currently popular to say “It’s not canon”, but I guess none of us are getting what we want.
Correct. I’d wish everyone moved from pointless ships
And commies are worse than nazis
if genderless couples where real then im sure someone would be happy to give them a name but since we live in the real world that ain’t happening.
I’m sorry to say this. But Gems are gender-less so they’d don’t count as a LGBT couple.
Someone should really come up for a name for a gender-less couple.
also that last part you said no offence. That’s was that most hipster and cringing thing to say XD please don’t get mad at me.
also only the two Cartoon Network ships and the debatable Starco are canon, all the rest are not canon.sorry.
Also Rarijack is not canon. Please move on.
Scoot’s Aunts are the only real LGBT couple in mlp. They’d better any fan ships being forced to be canon.

The lower right one is Red Action X Enid from OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes.

Gay means happy carefree cheerful or bright and showy
And yes, LONG LIVE TWENTY GAYTEEN.
Yes! Totally agree with you. Except for one thing: I don’t think Applejack and Rarity have to say “I love you” (I assume you meant “in a romantic sense”) to each other in order for Rarijack to be canon on the show. But I do agree with you that the kiss, all that romantic stuff between the two, and the confirmation have to happen.
Me, too.
@Fingusa
I believe when Trixie said to Starlight “the Starlight I love,” she meant it in a friendly sense. So, no.
