Although i imagine unintentional, luna is the far bigger a-hole in all of this as she spent god knows how many days traveling with twilight and i imagine discussing the peace negotiations… Withoit once mentioning that she and celestia intend to marry her off even though they have no peoper say in what she does since shes a princess of equal rank to them…

The Princess Celestia of this comic doesn’t strike me as quite benevolent herself. She agreed to a marriage pact involving Twilight, whom she never consulted about this, and was seemingly grooming for princesshood to make this peace possible, because she didn’t have the guts to meet with Dream herself.

Well not this, this is just the latest comcic so i commented here. Shes so the total opposite of her country in general that i imagine she just keeps to herself in her castle polotting against Celestia and leaves the ruling of the country to others. All just play along whnenever she goes out or something. xD
 
 
Firespite seems to be aware of the true nature of her leader anyway going by her memories, its just easier for her to obey then it is to be repeadetly punished and maybe they even threatened to punish her child. Not like she had anywhere else to go.
