In essence, yes, the leftover parts of cows that weren’t used to make food often got ground up and put into cow feed to help bulk them up faster by basically giving them protein to help muscle growth, that included cow brains as well as other organs all ground up. Turns out, if you eat the brain of your species, it tends to seem to cause the brain to get all fucked and form holes and causes Mad Cow Dieses in cows, and if a Human eats another Humans’ brain, it causes what is often known as Kuru. Eating the meat is fine as long as it’s not tainted already by the prion disease, just don’t eat the brain and she would be fine.

Isn’t this how Mad Cow Disease got started?
