OOH, scratch my previous stupid theory. This is still a part of the flashback that began in the previous page. Eatee became Dusk’s friend after Dusk stabbed his thingie, waited for him to reawaken one thousand years later, will do something weird next page, and takes Eatee back to the past to meet up with his three friends. Still less confusing than Kingdom Hearts time travel. XD

Hmm… Did Dusk’s sword/magic connect them together somehow? If 1000 years have passed since they met, perhaps Dusk’s way to help him was to be with him forever?
