About the FST800 synthetic pony:  
At the beginning of the interstellar expansion, Equestria needed a large number of troops, but most of ponies were not willing to join the army. So there was a pony come up an idea that made the army with the cloned ponies (Magic clone). The superior also agreed. So there was a lot of cloned ponies.
