Spike is only a few years younger than twilight with fluttershy being the oldest due to her looking older than rainbow in “The Cutie Mark Chronicles” episode and twilight herself looked around 9 or 10(I’m guessing here since they never give official ages, I’d put fluttershy at 12 or 13 during the episode), at the current point in the show spike would only be 2 or 3 years behind twilight who was around the rest of the girls(except shy) ages. besides those estimates spike is still a dragon who doesn’t partake in greed which(by pure guessing) has effected his size making him look younger than he is, more likely his true height is around Mina’s height(her head reaches up to Luna’s snout)

You should just stop yourself and filter it.

Why do people ship Spike with anyone? He’s implicitly a CHILD. Crush on Rarity or not, Rarity herself has only been shown using his crush to her advantage, never any actual reciprocal feelings.
 
These are adult mares. Spike is a BABY dragon. It’s gross. Yes I could block the images here on derpibooru, but that doesn’t change the fact that people actively ship a baby dragon with several adults and it’s EVERYWHERE.
 
Just stop. Think about the implications of shipping a dragon with the maturity of a five year old with an adult pony. At least some people have the decency to AU it and age up Spike…but as it currently stands, this shouldn’t be a thing that people accept as canon beyond Spike’s youthful crush on the prettiest mare he knows.
