According to Jim Miller (I asked him), Queen Novo and Ocean Flow are siblings, so Sky Beak is her brother-in-law, and Princess Skystar’s uncle.
No kidding. Their size didn’t really sink in in the movie, but… dang. They must be as tall as Princess Celestia on average.

So that leaves the question: since Siverstream is Queen Novo’s niece, is Sky Beak Novo’s brother or did he have a kid with her sister?

Seaspray is general of the hippogriff navy, on the left (purple and turquoise). Sky Beak (Silverstream’s dad, father of the Queen’s neice) is on the right (blue and gray).
