The episode where everyone turned into children also comes to mind, purely because of how “wtf” the premise was. Keep in mind, I love Star Trek from the bottom of my heart, but I try to pull no punches with my love either.
Just because I love something shouldn’t mean I should just accept it when things get mind-bendingly dumb. Kinda like when Dr. Crusher essentially fucked a ghost. That was all kinds of wtf.
Couldn’t agree more. It’s too bad the episode ended before we got to see Picard fully devolve into a lemur. Hah, and that part where Barclay is half-spooder and scares the crap outta him! XD
Yeah, that one was hilarious xD .
Arguably, TNG got it just as wrong in the “everyone devolves” episode.
I watched 5D’s sub recently. I’m well aware of that. But Star Trek is suppose to be a smart, philosophical series from what I understand, so it’s a bit less forgiving when a science-base sci-fi is inaccurate on a plot point of the ep.
To be fair, tons of franchises don’t understand evolution, thus showing a single individual “evolving” into something “stronger.”
Keep in mind, I’m not defending the episode at all xD .
It’s a little more than “weird,” though. It’s one of those things where it doesn’t understand evolution and makes up shit as it goes.
@Meanlucario
It wouldn’t be the first time Trek went weird on us xD .
Bones seeing the white rabbit from Through the Looking Glass comes to mind.
Or it being greenlit.
Just because it isn’t canon doesn’t mean I can forget having seen it.
Isn’t that the only non-canon ep of the series?
Sometimes she’s a lizard!
Hey, she’s only half of those things half of the time. It… depends on the writer.
As long as you’re not an

While Benjamin Sisko approves of your comment, he also threatens the pimp hand if you take it back. Just remember that.
(DS9 is acceptable also).
The 1970s Star Trek animated series? You can find bits of it on Youtube.
It was mostly basically animated fanfiction, voiced by (most of) the original actors. It varied wildly in quality from episode to episode, as you might guess.
It also gave us a character named M’ress, one of the first sexyfine catgirls in Western animation.
No you’re not, count me in.
I liked the cartoon.
