Yeah. They’re rare but a few taloned Bat Ponies exist. And that makes sense to me. It explains his design rather well.

Huh, so there ARE bat/gryphon hybrid OCs. I probably haven’t searched hard enough when making my own happen :D
As far as lineage goes: one of his ancestors was a gryphon. It’s a few generations down the line, so now only the talons remain.

Whoops. My mistake. I had him confused with a female Batpony OC with talons.
