Everyone was enjoying the nice evening party, which was supposed to be held outside but sudden rain had limited their plans. Each of the seven friends met often, but this party was great opportunity to spend time with the whole group without anyone having jobs to do or places to be. Twilight’s home had very cozy library room, which had normally couple of chairs in front of the fireplace, but they were moved aside today.
Pinkie pie had taken glass of wine of the table and took a sip, she smiled and suggested they would toast for the party, and then lights went out. Every one of stayed surprisingly calm, it was just a black out after all.
Until someone screamed. After that two gunshots, loud thump and sound of something breaking, caused chaos among them. Starlight managed to find matchstick on top of the fireplace. Fire started slowly but the little light helped clear the confusion. As the fire grew everybody calmed down a little.
Now that they could see clearly, they immediately noticed Pinkie pie lying in the ground. Twilight grouched down and inspected the body. “She is dead”, Twilight stated.

Pinkie pie, the well known designer and artist has been murdered.
Each of them seem to hold a motive,
Twilight, the respected doctor and highly intelligent individual, has been know to frequently ask Pinkie to be in her experiments,
Rarity, the famous singer and designer, and Pinkie are rival designers,
Applejack, who runs family restaurant and sells famous apple wine, may need to share her company’s profits and share of company as Pinkie is second in the line of inheritance,
Fluttershy’s, talented actor with many awards, career debut shows spotlight was stolen by party designed by Pinkie,
and Rainbow dash, youngest Police chief in recent history and pretty well known athlete, has know to hate Pinkie’s pies.
Only Starlight Glimmer, Twilight’s student in medicine and science, currently unemployed, sticks out from the rest having no known motive at all.

Who and why someone killed her?

Here you have it, my attempt at creating murder mystery. Now the real mystery is how I managed to color 7 different characters in a two weeks. But I guess we won’t know the answer to either of these mysteries%% Whuuh spooky. Ok ok. I will not spoil who killed Pinkie, but I will spoil how I managed to do it! I simply didn’t sleep. HAHAHA!

Applejack has poison, but it’s unclear if it was used on the wine. Fluttershy is holding bloody scissors. Rarity appears to have some form of knife. Rainbow Dash, of course, has a gun. There is one bullet hole in the wall, but there were two gunshots. I am unable to locate the second bullet hole. Pinkie’s right hand has blood on it, and a short distance away lies a knife that matches the two others Rarity is hiding behind her fan. Next to Pinkie’s feet is a bloodstained purple glove, likely the match to the one Starlight is wearing. However, no injuries are visible on Starlight, which indicates that the blood is not her own, but the possibility can not be discounted due to the way she is clenching her ungloved fist. The fragments of the broken vase are nowhere to be seen, which suggests that it was broken elsewhere before being returned to the mantelpiece. Rainbow Dash can be fairly reasonably discounted, simply because not liking somebody’s pies is hardly a reason to resort to murder. Twilight can, somewhat less definitely, also be discounted. Refusal to participate in experiments hardly constitutes cause for murder, and if Twilight had to ask, these experiments would likely only be worthwhile with a live subject. Applejack’s only visible weapon is poison, and it’s unlikely that Pinkie was killed so quickly by any poison Applejack might have access to. Fluttershy, despite having her debut overshadowed by Pinkie’s party, evidently still has a number of awards and a very successful career, so I imagine any ill will towards Pinkie would be minimal. I’ve noticed other things, but I’m typing this on a phone and I’ve covered most of the important stuff anyways. I hope my analysis helps someone figure it out!
