Flash Magnus and Rainbow Dash: 😳😳

I agree with you for that but wouldn’t Flash beats Dash cause he is a soldier but she is a wonderbolt
Dash = fly faster but less tackle ability
Flash = fly fast and tackle ability more

Pretty sure she got shipped with Thunderline a few times too… And later on Quibble… I personally ship Gildash, but this is a welcome ship as well.

I’d say that Dash has developed her personality now, being more mature and less brash than she was six seasons ago. Unlike in S1, I think having Flash share personality similarities would make them get along even more, not less, because it’d bring understanding of two kindred, competitive but loyal spirits. Heck, we know it’s likely Flash Magnus already settled down for a while, since many of the other Guardians have modern-day descendants and Flash has a dead ringer in the modern day, so Rainbow And Flash could likely be a permanent thing.

I think they should remain nothing more than close friends. If they were to spend the rest of their lives together in marriage having too similar personalities, how would Dash or him even develop further in life? That would just make both ponies more irritable (especially Dash).

The way I see it, their similarities actually work for them in a shipping sense. Dash has a high opinion of herself, and Flash would know exactly what she likes to have praised and feed her ego perfectly, being the same way. It’d start as two competitive ponies constantly challenging and trying to one up each other until one tackles the other inside a cloud and they don’t emerge until an hour later.

Ehhhh. They seem way too alike to me. Uninteresting.

Normally I ship Dash with mares like Daring Do (never really bought the Soarin thing), but I could get down with this ship.

I respect your opinion and I agree Soarin could have a bit more development… but please… I don’t want to be hearing any comment wars on my birthday today, buddy. This is not what I came here for on Derpibooru today. Sure, I could unsubscribe at any given time, but I still hate seeing comment wars start or go on in general and even if it is just your opinion it’s quite an easy way to start one. SoarinDash fans in general (excluding me) can easily get riled up about this type of stuff.
 
If you go back and look through the episode more clearly however, you will see that Soarin and Dash have definitely had some off screen chat time. For example, in the Love is in Bloom song at Shining and Cadence’s Wedding, at the end of Rarity Investigates, and in Rainbow Falls when Fluttershy was worried about Soarin you could clearly see that Rainbow Dash was thinking “I care about him too, y’know.” There’s much, much more, but that’s a few I have named by memory.

How does he have a better chance? We’ve barely seen RD and Soarin talk, and there wasn’t really anything more compatible about them. In fact, Magnus and RD seem to have a little more chemistry than any stallion RD has talked to in awhile.

I really don’t get this argument. Once both parties are of legal age, nothing is off limits.

Is a good shipping. We already have Soarin, Zephyr and Quibble, but the think with Flash is he is too similar with her.  
They get along well… For NOW.  
Still Soaring seems to be a better chance since he is kinda what RD needs to keep growing.

They weren’t ageing at all, they were stuck in stasis. Flash is the same age he was when he went in, except flung into the future.

Dude, she’s like 1/50th your age!
