After seeing a bunch of people here ripping and saying he deserved her wrath, I found that none of them even knew what Star Tracker’s perspective was.

Actually I think/hope most of us would have first asked nicely but firmly for some space rather than holding it in until we were as angry as Twilight got.
Anyone trying to say Twilight did something wrong is being idealistic, not realistic, and not practical.
Kid escaped with his life
Twilight’s snap isn’t unreasonable to expect given her day. It’s what makes one able to relate to the whole situation on both sides.
You’re not wrong, but I understand where Twilight was coming from. He had been making her super awkward and uncomfortable all day, which she had to silently put up with so as not to ruin his good time, and then after she accidentally steps on his hoof through no fault of her own, she hears what sounds to her like he’s complaining about what she did to him, after all that he had done to her.
I’m not saying she should have snapped at him the way she did, but from Twilight’s perspective I don’t find it all that unreasonable.
Being stomped on for being too close is just an honest accident. No one is upset about that, it happens all the time. It’s mainly that after that, Twilight uses it as the gateway to unleash her wrath at him when she should have been upset at iron will.
Still, Star Tracker was a good sport, accepted her apology, and even stood up for her, indicated that if she’d have asked, he would have stepped back.
I can’t agree more than what you said.
I felt like the guy just wanted to be her friend. Imagine meeting the hero of your life and only to realize you have no chemistry at all?
I understand from both Twilight and Star’s point of view.
How do one even make a good connection to someone you’re a fan of?

Yeah, that’s the mark of a solid, good character who may be awkward and bumble around, but means well and remains kind and honest despite everything. I know a few people on this very site who are like that
Add to it that after the hoof stepping, she also tore into him for little more than the fact that he won a contest to spend the day with his favorite princess and happened to be invading her personal space, though she never told him to take a step back.
It’s also showing something since he not only accepted her apology but also stood up on her behalf shortly after that situation.
Makes enough sense. Like I said, what really pushes my buttons are the people who seem to think that he was “deserving” of getting his hoof stepped on
Incorrect. I merely read a ton of posts going “Yeah this creep deserved to have Twilight rip him harshly”.
And until Twilight’s family came and helped him, yeah, this is accurate and probably what he would have done at the end there, but when she apologized, he stood up to Iron Will on her behalf, which takes no small amount of bravery.
Well I don’t think having to abandon his own tour was an ideal outcome for Iron Will.
I think Daneosaur is mostly doing a parody of those self-pitying greentext from 4Chan for alugh, episode accuracy be damned
Aye, but it’s what a lot of the “viewers” are claiming in the screencaps of him being torn a new apple hole by twilight.
@Ryodraco
I’m happy he got what he truly deserved at the end. I dislike how the people are saying he got what he deserved just because their pwecious Twi got frustrated. They come across like bullies more than anything, and I don’t think Twilight herself would find that notion flattering. It wasn’t exactly this guy’s fault! It was Iron Will who arranged the whole thing. But of course, Iron Will just escapes unscathed…
