It would be very easy to argue for why Tempest’s horn wouldn’t grow back on the basis of how it ended up broken while still making it the general rule that horns normally grow back. There’s no reason to resort to childish insults simply because you have an irrational bias against a character’s design.

how about this, then. unicorn horns grow back on their own, unless the unicorn suffers from edgy emo syndrome.
The movie is good, I recommend watching it even if you diverge from it for your story
One has to work with information and make logical conclusions based on what they know. If there’s a key element I’m missing, I’d like to see the twist then.
Maybe she was experimenting with some nanomachines or super-healing serum? Is she a pony? I’ll wait for that in the mean time.
But you are missing a really important detail that I can currently not tell.
The movie will probably not influence this comic at all, because I don’t really think I’ll watch it.

Honestly ruby was grasping lucky.
And the show canon I meant wss that it was down that unicorns file their horns. In an episode where Rarity and Fluttershy are in the spa.
Even if it’s not bone, but some kind of connective tissue, growing one might not be possible without magic.
And what canon about that?
Well, anyway, in that case, what they did to Ruby would not be worse than breaking her an easily repaired bone and not that utterly horrible.
Yes. Many people forget that. We even have canon proof of the horns growing naturally.
They had one pretty good doctor. Just no advanced equipment or medizin that’s harder to get.
uh, it’s a horn. horns grow on their own. it grew back sharper and longer, because she hasn’t been filing it. they barely had any medical care, on account of hiding from the law.
Not only did it grow back, but sharper and longer than before.
Just gotta get the shrink ray ready.
