Twilight always struck me as the “too busy to oook” type. I figured she was your stereotypical college student living on takeout pizza and ramen noodles if she had to fend for herself. Spike obviously did all the cooking for her.

I’m guessing the cook-off here was Spike’s idea. Apparently he’s been teaching Twilight to cook, and Twilight’s embraced it as a “friendship lesson” with her #1 assistant.
