That Twilight would go ahead and snub the cornerstone of the entire series is totally inconceivable.

Haters be hating, but don’t let it put you off watching the movie, I let haters effect my watching schedule, and thanks to that I haven’t watched anything since season three.
My legitimate apprehensions rest on corny dialogue and the shock of new animation.
But I will give the movie a chance.
The default-haters are trolls.

Storm King is the big bad, not Tempest. Tempest is basically his second.
In all fairness that is more specific, but don’t forget about Cinch.
And I’m not against the idea of having them be able to save fewer villains, would honestly make it more meaningful to the ones they can redeem.

Think you’re forgetting about Tirek, Sombra, Chrysalis (for now at least), pretty much most of the monsters like the Hydra and the Maulwurf. Also, for a show with pastel-colored ponies and the title being “Freindship is Magic”, that’s to be expected.
Storm King literally gets petrified and shattered.
Because we all need a character we want a hug every occasion?

So it’s another MLP movie where the villain is going to be reformed and become friends with everyone?
Why must every villain in this universe’s movies be just sad and cranky because they didn’t get enough hugs as children? Why can’t some people just be bad because they’re inherently bad?
So… what you’re saying is you ARE spoiled and you don’t want to face the facts. Got it.
