Let’s not forget the tiger part of the Chimera Sisters.
I don’t know, I kinda like the design, but it just isn’t really menacing. And I just don’t see the lion in it.
The body should have looked more like the Manticore from episode 2. You know, since they are both lion based. That thing looked more fearsome, because it was lean, muscular and had claws. Instead they went with the basic pony body design and altered it slightly.
The body model from the griffins probably would have been a good basis as well.
Maybe this is just what she looks like in Crazy Old Narrator’s imagination. Or maybe whoever painted her image subsequently decided to liven up the color scheme. We don’t know.
Still, a bit more yellow and brown would certainly look more lioness.
