and among the tags of that was “aryabuse”. I was curious to as what else was in the tag and as a result I clicked it, and one of those pictures in there was this one. I found it grimly entertaining and it also felt rather appropriate to post this meme considering the common theme of fascists being hanged. I was going to check if it had been posted already, actually, but I gave up on this comment section 4 seconds in.

Eh, I mostly came in because I got a notification and saw someone being accused of being a Nazi because they said that has a very particular meaning, and that’s where I came in. That explains why I’m not doing this on some ISIS image and my particular objection I started with was people calling him a Nazi for saying “actually calling anyone who’s vaguely a racist or sexist a Nazi isn’t accurate” (which also happens to be crying wolf, fwiw - if that person calls anyone remotely racist or sexist a Nazi).
 
Not sure where that other thing started - I think I started on free speech because when you or someone else said “oh yeah so they can say x and y terrible things and get away with it?” I was like, “well… yeah. Free speech is more important than shutting them up.”
 
Again, not sure what else could’ve been meant by saying “so they can just say whatever and that’s fine?” if not implying they should be censored. So that’s this particular instance.
 

 
As for ISIS, as mentioned earlier, it’s a different case when you’re not suggesting legal action and policy change, but actually recruitting members to carry out crime and plotting attacks on the US and have declared intention to directly harm and murder by action. That’s very, very different from stating how policy should be changed. But even then, it’s better to let them talk for intelligence reasons, but let’s not get into that lest they wise up to it.
 
But it’s the difference in-between, “gas the Jews!” Meaning “we must secure political power and enact a regime that will systematically commit genocide” - which, like Nazi Germany within its own borders, would technically be legal (as atrocious as it is you can’t convict an executioner for murder) and it’s a statement declaring intent to change legal policy, which is the kind of speech that is protected for all the reasons I’ve gone on about (and the votes needed to change policy prevent that), versus “come to my training camp where we’ll teach you how to kill Americans so you can go kill Americans!”, which is not declaring an intent to change policy to legally kill anyone, but declaring intent to actually go out and murder people without changing the laws first (ie, secure political power).
 
Insomuch as NeoNazis don’t wait for their fourth Reich, though, they’re prosecuted according to the law, but unlike ISIS, their goal isn’t to commit crime, it’s to change policy, hence their protection. Also I’m sure the FBI keeps plenty of tabs on them. From what I’ve heard the KKK is mostly sleeper agents, lol.

It just seems like you do that, fairly frequently. If you haven’t, and that’s not your stance, then I’m sorry for accusing you of such things. Genuinely and truly, I do not want to misinterpret your points or views, and since it appears that I have, I apologize.
 
And I guess there’s people that like Aryanne because she’s designed to be a nazi and/or share their views? I’ve never seen her for anything but shock value, when she was created, and since then she’s just been cute. (in most her images.) I haven’t really seen anyone outright saying, “I like Aryanne because I can prop her up as my Nazi ambassador from the brony community.” In the event such a person does exist, then they’re not worth attention.
 
And I wouldn’t say I’m a paragon of freedom. I’d like to be that, or moreover close to that as someone that is unwavering to anything else besides that, but I wouldn’t say I’m anywhere near as influential as I’d passively like to be. As wanting someone as far away from me as possible, well, that’s a bit hurtful and I’d honestly just like to know why. I’m not concerned that you feel that way about me, there’s plenty of people I know that outright hate me, I’m more concerned with the why, and I’m just wanting to know.
 
Yes, ebola does exist, but it’s killed SO MANY LESS people than, say, the flu. In fact, influenza has killed more people annually than ebola has since it was discovered and recorded. If we’re going to talk about disease, then what makes a disease more frightening is how effective it is at killing you, and how many people it actually does kill. The chance of contracting ebola here in the western world is so low that it’s not worth being worried about, just like the chance of dying to a car crash as opposed to a shark is so much more possible and quite likely to happen on a daily basis. Yes, Nazis do exist, and there are people that hold those nasty opinions, but their numbers are so incredibly small that ignoring them, because they’re sentient beings, hurts them a whole lot more than anything else. People CRAVE attention, and when starved have nothing else to do besides lash out. At that point, if they haven’t already broken the law by expressing their desire to kill people, which they would’ve, then they’ve went a step further and actually did so. It’d be abhorrent, and it would hurt them either way because then that attack would be publicly seen. But, that still doesn’t mean their numbers are prominent enough that we should even give them the time of day. We already disagree with their views, why give them any more of our already little time?
 
I really think you and I should, at some point, speak directly to one another just expressing our views, and no interrupting or anything like that. I believe you and I more often than not misunderstand one another and this leads to there being a perceived tension where there really shouldn’t be. I get the distinct feeling you hate me to the core without really knowing me, and laugh at me as do the dozens of people I interact with about you, including some of your own staff. I just want all this crap to be behind us, and that’s why I did what Mr. Meow suggested and apologized for everything from before, even though I’m still doubtful of any impact that would have.
 
I just want all of this to be behind us. There’s no point in us being enemies.
