Oh wow. This is a well-detailed tragic story for poor Celestia you’ve crafted. I mean wow!
But if she’s really immortal then she CANT be killed
Nah, I’m pretty sure ponies die when they are killed.
If she truly is immortal(which I’m guessing she is or she probably would’ve killed herself a LONG time ago) then that would do nothing but serve to throw her into the void of space. No air, No sound, the only light being from stars so distant that many of them died eons ago, it would be new home, and her new hell.
Or at least until the sun goes out.
While you live on everyone else dies and you slowly die inside with them
PRETTY sure she doesn’t have that sort of immortality. Then again, if the series is her delusion in this scenario, all proof that she is killable may well be her fantasy.
+1 comment. That was good stuff, my kind of fic.
Those shadows outside look like ruins to me.
Although to be honest, I think the image here could make for a worse story than that. Based on the light we see shining through behind her, and the jagged shapes in the shadows, I could believe this is far in future when there isn’t anyone else left. It’s just her. Alone. An eternal, unchanging figure so far gone from eons of isolation that nothing registers with her anymore. A being so out of place in time that even the stars themselves seem fleeting in the night sky. And here she sits, as the glaciers zoom past and the landscape reshapes itself around her, unable to die, unable to age, the shattered fragments of happy memories stretched thin across the billions of years she’s existed. The fantasy she concocts is almost a blessing in that sense. It distracts what’s left of her mind from any understanding of what has happened, and from the realization that someday the universe itself may fall into darkness, but she will still be here.

I don’t think it’s post-end of the world, I think the implication though is that all of the events we see in the show (Luna returning, Twilight turning out as a prized pupil, the show’s foes being easily done away with) are fabrications of a Celestia who has either snapped completely at some point, or at the very least is coping by using wishful delusions.
Just going by what the source description says mind you

Could be worse.
