Description

With an energetic leap of her legs, Uganda gracefully bounds over the large Termite mounds. Clearing them by just a foot or so.

With a powerful ram of his horns, Sabe forcefully smashes his way through one of the largest mounds with BASH! Decimating the dirt structure in a matter of seconds.

Now this page here was a real treat draw and color! I’m so happy with how the last panel came out with Sabe smashing his face into the mound. The dust effect I was hoping for really payed off in the end, as well as the depth of field effect caused by the flying dirt clumps.

Wasn’t expecting it to get this action-y, huh? Or maybe you already were, and I’m just making a fool of myself.

Hope you’re all enjoying the story so far!

Well I like to think that in this story, most if not all mammals are sapient. As well as maybe some species of birds, maybe even reptiles as well, and they can communicate with one another easily.
Insects on the other hand though, I think would be too small and obscure from the actual story to be sapient. So I would guess that they’re normal insects for the most part.
Plus, it was just one mound destroyed in a row of many more. I think they Termites will rebuild without a problem.
In fact, insects make up most of the Earths biomass, so this isn’t even a blip on the radar of insect populations, for there are literally billions of individuals.

Is every African creature sapient, or just the mammals? Sabe just doomed a termite mound to being slaughtered by Matabele ants, but did he just kill bugs or did he wipe out a civilization?
