Blood Brandy said what I was thinking. Flurry along with the Heart boosted what feelings there were to outrageous levels.

It’s not so much lust for Flurry as just pure, childish love that is being overclocked by the Heart and farther misconstrued by each individual pony afflicted, which I’m guessing is why each of them started out as their own individual brand of crazy (And the CMC, DT and SS were just more huggy, lovey-dovey instead of, well, you know). But after a while, since the heart is connecting them in a way, it’s making a feedback loop of crazy until it blends into general madness
Indeed it is not. Ponies have tried explaining it to me but I still don’t see how it makes sense. I’m trying. Like, really hard.
