it is very uncommon, patreon and pay-per-view stuff is easier for artists. I had a friend who got his buddy to help pay for commissions though. the result was quite entertaining
Good to know. Of course the whole “job” thing is why I’m trying to get commissions, and why I can’t spend more time on stuff like this.
… I feel like there should be some way to crowd-fund a commission for this kind of thing — probably lots of people want to see it, but no-one wants to pay the full price. I’ll have to look into that.

Indeed. Reminder of Winter Wrap up episode. Twilight had a saddle that was clearly for decoration cos Spike didnt even used that. And if anyone want to say “its for Spike” well then he should look at episodes based around Canterlot where ponies have saddles clearly just as a part of dress.

I imagine the saddle as decorative, and the ”stirrups” as hand-holds. Hence their position and angle.
Failing that, I guess it would depend on the relative height (and leg-length) of the rider.

Yeah, cos people put reality into their pony slave role play fantasy IRL, right?
They feed their little pony slaves with hay, leave them to eat grass during day, not have sex with them, ride them in public and ask blacksmith for a bunch of new horseshoes every few years.
The is difference betwen reality and fantasy, not sure if you understand that…

Well, this “Some Guy” should put some reality into his pony slave role play fantasy.
For this set of gear, riders are positioned behind the mount. Also, the mount is not on a racetrack, she’s in some guy’s basement. ;D
