It be funny if this happen in a Tarzan crossover, especially if Twylight said ‘Pinkie, for goodness sake’ as George Darling did with Nana and if the Tarzan characters laugh before licking frosting to tickle her thus making her smile and laugh.

Exactly this. A substantial number of movie trailers, even ones belonging to films with a much higher budget, have done the same thing. It is incredibly common for trailers to utilize incomplete footage or stuff that hasn’t been giving that final polish, and in many cases trailers even use footage that won’t be included in the finished product.
 
The important thing to remember is that there is still several months between now and the release for additional work to be done, and that there is a fair amount of stuff in the MLP trailer already that looks really good.

Ok. Some of the other scenes were obviously comps for the ad - like where the perspective or color is broken. Putting these things together is a nightmare caught between trying to not spoiler something you don’t want to spoiler, yet also getting cuts of all the top billing.
 
In the end, you sometimes have to “get creative”.

I hope so. The animation seems a little ‘slow’. Almost hesitant, if that makes sense. I do truly love how the sea ponies look and animate in this, though.

Beacuase it’s a preview. Half of these scenes are probably comps that won’t even appear in the final cut, or were rendered using non-production values just to get it out the door.

Why do some scenes look more polished than others? I swear her eyes are different in others scenes…
