THIS! This is what was missing from the actual episode where we see Celestia banish Luna. If it had just gone on a little longer all those people complaining about ‘oh, she only shed a single tear’ wouldn’t have happened.

Some Ponies have extremely dramatic responses to MacArthur Park.
