I’m not. I started it more so as a jokey troll kind of thing, but some people took it too fucking seriously.
 
And I use to actually be proud of being part of this community, but now I’ve come to realize how there’s no huge difference between the Brony community and the rest of the internet. I always thought that people would be civil about minor things like shipping and such, but I guess I was dead wrong.
 
Go look at some of the newer posts under Dislestia, and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about. Exactly what I’m talking about.

For a lot of people, including me, ships I ship are “ships that I like to see.” I can ship Fluttermac and MarbleMac and I love seeing them pop up on my feed, and now I’ll also enjoy seeing SugarMac as well. No matter which one of them I’m seeing, I’m still having a good experience, even if I know I’ll be seeing one of them less.

Well, if you just switched because it became “cannon” in the show, then yeah, you’d be kind of a sell out, especially if you made several pieces of fanart of the previous pairing in this case.
 
I know this from experience, mainly with the Zutara pairing from ALTA. Almost all the fans just up and stopped making any fanart or fanfics and so on just because it didn’t happen in the show.
 
And again, I wouldn’t be surprised if what happened with MarbleMac will happen to SugarMac as well. It shows up for a single episode, then is never seen again in the show.

How does jumping from one ship to another make one a sellout? I used to support Sweetie Belle/Rumble before supporting Sweetie Belle/Button Mash. Does that make ME a sellout?

Wow. You sell out. Just going from being a MarbleMac fan to this.
 
Though I think the same thing will happen to SugarMac, they show up for one episode then are never heard of seen again.

Theoretically, it would be to prevent people from claiming it as their own art, but LItrally no one cares. Name in the top corner there? That’s fine, lets people know who made it, does not actively detract from the quality of the picture. The watermark? Anyone who cares enough to steal credit for it is going to do so anyways, no one is going to call them out on it because all they notice is that it’s a big obnoxious shadow over the image, not what it says, and it’s nowhere near impressive enough for people to want to steal it in the first place.
 
This kind of self overestimation is why I assume most DA artists are teenagers who don’t know any better yet.

Great picture, but I really wish the watermark was smaller. (Yes, I know why it’s there, but still . . .)

I really really liked marblemac, and wished it could be true, because seriously then AJ and Pinkie would actually be cousins, but as more than a year of having to point out that if they’re related at all, it’s only by marriage 5 generations back with no shared ancestors and only getting BUT INCEST THO HURR, yeah, of course it wasn’t going to get more than one episode.
