Yeah, many of the villains aren’t even really villains, (even Eggman at times) so I’d rather have Nack stay more villainous. I wouldn’t want him to be too serious though, and they should keep his comical side from the games, and comics. He’d be like Sideshow Bob, a legit threat, but with a funny & clumsy side to him.

I think he’d be an interesting character in the games. A bounty hunter who may or may not be on your side. Could have some interesting boss fights and dialogue. Rouge kinda has that potential, but she’s usually more on the good than bad side, being a secret agent for the president and all.

The comics are the only thing keeping him alive. (Same for the beloved SatA.M. characters, and a few other forgotten pre-Adventure game characters.)

2005’s “Sonic Gems Collection” actually includes all of his game appearances. (Sonic Triple Trouble, Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Drift 2, and Tails Adventure.) He was also said to be included in the cancelled Sega Saturn game “Sonic X-Treme.” Apparently, Fang/Nack was going to be a recurring character back then. What made him interesting was he was an animal character in Sonic games who was a villain, and not a misguided anti-villain, or anti-hero like most of the other ones. He was abit comical, and a klutz, but a badass regardless.

There was a rumor shortly before “Sonic Unleashed” was released that Nack was going to return, and that he would be a villainous bounty hunter (similar to the comic) character hired to hunt down the “Warehog.” When a Sega of America exec’ was asked to confirm if this rumor was true, he didn’t even know WHO the character was. Even Sega doesn’t know who he is. (Aside from whoever put that Wanted poster of him in “Sonic Generations.”)
